Akron Art Fest is an event where artisans can share and sell their handmade creations, collaborate with other artists, and connect with their local community.

We encourage the support of our local economy and the building of strong community relationships by promoting locally made art in a space where people can connect with others, enjoy foods from local vendors and restaurants, and learn from different cultural traditions and art forms.

Our Artisan Market, we see as a common place where all artisans coming from many different walks of life, can become knitted together,  sharing and learning from each other, while having a great time!

This market will be traveling around the Akron area on the last Saturday of each month. We want to be at a different location each time when able. This way, we can get different artists involved, shed light on different organizations, businesses, or churches, and provide a consistent show that artists and the community can count on.

We are collaboratively and collectively owned by the community members and artists that participate. There is not one single agency, one person, or one artist that has any rights to claim this project. We, the members involved, intend to keep it this way. This means, the only way we grow is by the energy and effort that folks can put into it.
